CMS Flags and Lights

Yellow Flag/Light: When a circumstance takes place that endangers the race, a yellow flag/light will be displayed. During standard racing events, yellow flag laps are not counted.
Red Flag/Light: A Red flag/light is displayed when the track is blocked or a dangerous situation occurs.
Red/Yellow Lights: When both the Red and Yellow lights are displayed, realignment is in order.
Meatball Flag: The meatball flag is basically a black flag warning. If you see this flag being waived someone in the racing group is not driving very sportsmanlike. The flag is black with a large orange circle in the center.
Black Flag: Driver must exit race
Mechanical Flag: This is a black flag with a horizontal orange stripe: This flag signifies that a driver has a mechanical problem that must be inspected.
Checkered/Yellow Flag: It is rare that his flag combination occurs. It is thrown only if an accident takes place after the leaders have come out of turn four on the final lap but have not reached the start/finish line. The red or yellow flag is thrown in combination with the checkered flag. The checkered flag was already committed but an accident takes place in the final lap sector. The race is complete. The final finish is in the order the field crossed the start/finish line on the final lap, minus the cars involved.
Checkered Flag: Signifies the race is over!
Final Two Laps: At CMS, no race can end unless last 2 laps are concurrently run under the green flag.
Two Yellow Flag Involvement Rule: Any car that brings out the yellow flag twice or one red and one yellow during any given race will be disqualified for the remainder of the race. Yellow flag count does not start until after one lap has been officially scored after the green flag lap
Accident/Involvement: Any car stopping on the track for an accident or
leaving the track surface will be realigned at the rear.
