The
Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) Racinboys Webcast
Show returns to the airwaves on Thursday, April
3rd. Now in its second year, the CMS Webcast,
which is one of the highest rated shows on the
Racinboys network, has expanded to one hour.
CMS promoters Earl and Susan Walls stated,
there were several times last year that the
show simply flew by too quickly and there was not
enough time to discuss everything, especially those
time when special guests were part of the
show. The expansion to one hour will
allow for a more relaxed atmosphere and more time to
be spent with special guests.
There
are plans for several in-studio guests to participate
in the Webcast and scheduling is underway to line up
the first few weeks worth of guests, the first
of which will appear on the second week of the show
on Thursday, April 10th. Earl Walls kicks off
the show on April 3rd in a way only he can with his
opening commentary. The normally quiet and
sometimes mysterious Walls is always entertaining
when he hits the airwaves with his lead-off remarks,
which are sometimes racing related and sometimes
not. Walls will be joined in the studio by
long-time track official and chief scorer, Karen
Darling. Known on the show as the Boss
Lady, Darling brings over 35 years of
race-related experience to the table on everything
from track officiating to race procedures. This
season marks the 15th year that Darling has worked at
CMS as a track official. Alan
Steeler Miller also returns to the on-air
staff this year. Miller announces at the track
and also is part of the CMS public relations
team. With his cool and calm demeanor and well
thought out commentary, Miller rounds out a great
lineup of CMS personalities taking to the airwaves
discussing everything from weekly events, results and
points standings and news from pit side.
Additional track personnel and special guests will
complete the weekly lineup for round-table discussion
on the show each week. Never one to leave out
the fans, listeners can also take part in the show
while it is being taped live by dialing locally at
833-8553 or toll free at 888-883-6363. The
on-air staff will also continuously monitor the
Racinboys Instant Message Forum Board to address
questions and comments. Simply log into
www.racinboys.com and click on the forum option and
Instant Messages link to take part. The Webcast
is posted on the main page of the Racinboys Website
not long after being taped each Thursday evening.
