MSCA 305 Sprint Special at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS)

The newly formed Midwest Sprint Car Association opens their 2008 season with their first ever $1000 to win special event at Central Missouri Speedway presented by the Racinboys.com on Saturday night.  The 305 sprints once again return to the CMS high banks and will race without their wings which guarantees some added excitement on the track throughout the night.  The ‘Mighty’ Modifieds, ULMA Late Models, Street Stocks and B-Modifieds will also be featured during the weekly CMS Kenny’s Tile Saturday night racing program.

The early season track improvements continue and include upgrading the racing surface and some facilities after delaying some projects due to the extended wet weather in the area.  The dry weather early this week will assist owners Susan and Earl Wall’s improvement efforts and more projects will be completed by this weekend.  New grandstands, sound system enhancements and other facility changes have been completed to help improve the race night experience for our fans.

CMS is conveniently located just off Highway 13 four miles north of the Highway 50 intersection in Warrensburg, Missouri and is only 14 miles south of Interstate 70 from the Higginsville exit.  CMS is known for the best modified racing in the area each and every week.  We're less than an hour away from downtown Kansas City and even less of a drive from Clinton, Sedalia, Odessa, Independence and Harrisonville!
